What skills will your child develop?
This fraction of whole numbers worksheet resource includes 3 different activities for your child to complete:
- Find fractions of space objects.
- Your child will take off into space where they will help the astronauts by finding fractions of the planet numbers.
- Use their knowledge of finding fractions of numbers to help the astronauts get back to their rockets.
This resource includes 2 different worksheets which are differentiated into three levels. This allows your child to build the basic skills needed to find fractions of whole numbers and then they can progress to the more challenging worksheets.
- Level 1 – we will be working with halves, thirds and quarters.
- Level 2 – we will be working with fifths, sixths, sevenths and eighths.
- Level 3 – we will be working with ninths, tenths, elevenths and twelfths.
Don’t forget to complete the two review worksheets included with this resource to recap on finding fractions of amounts using pictures.
I’ve also included an extra gift with this resource, a fractions of whole numbers learning tool, which you can laminate and let your child use to help with their working out!
